Madekwe is a British-Nigerian mixed race child was born into an ethnically diverse family from South London. Her father and mother have both been English. Her family was raised on a council estate in the south of London. In the ages of 14she enrolled in The Brit School. She was a student at The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London where she gained a BA in acting. She performed in various stage productions during her time at school, including King Henry V and Wuthering Heights.
Madekwe launched her acting career with the movie Storm Damage. Since then, she has been a guest star in Teachers, Doctors, Casualty as well as Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe's debut film appearance was Woody Allen's 2007 Cassandra's Dream opposite Colin Farrell, Ewan McGregor. Following this acclaim, she appeared as Elisha in her role on the BBC Three drama pilot West 10 LDN as well as on six of the episodes Trexx and Flipside. She also landed the part in the role of Bambi on the ITV2 Drama series Secret Diary of a Call Girl which aired in episodes two and three. Madekwe starred as the lead character for How to Lose Friends And Alienate Others, a comedy released in the year 2008. She also appeared in Little Sweet Thing, by Roy Williams, and Flight Path written by David Watson.
Madekwe made her official US debut in the 2009 Drama series The Beautiful Life, which just aired two episodes for The CW before being cancelled. Ashley Davenport was her role in ABC's drama Revenge. After appearing on the show for the first two seasons it was announced in May 2013 that she would quit the show following an appearance as a guest in the premiere episode from the 3rd season. The actress portrayed Tituba in the TV show Salem between 2014 and 2016. Madekwe, along with her boyfriend who has been with her for a long time, Iddo Goldenberg, were married in June 2012. They've collaborated in the show Secret Diary of a Call Girl and he also played a part with her in the television series Salem.

Ashley Leggat grew up in Hamilton Ontario with a huge family. Ashley Leggat was a part of Roy and Patty and her other siblings - Brett, Todd and Bram as well as Rob. Ashley's brothers, who are all athletes, play baseball during the summer and played hockey in the winter months. Ashley did not walk, but she was a dancer, and at the age of 2 1/2 years old she took up Baby Ballet -and she fell in love. Ashley was captivated by dance when she was just a few years old.
