Lis Wehl, who was born September 19, 1961, in the US, is an author and the former legal expert of Fox News.
She was previously an associate professor of law at Law School at the University of Washington Law School. She has offered legal commentary for National Public Radio program and on Bill O'Reilly's radio show, The Radio Factor. She has been a frequent guest for The O'Reilly Factor as well Lou Dobbs Today, The Kelly File With Megyn Kelly with Neil Cavuto and The Kelly File.
Wiehl is a Yakima resident who graduated from West Valley High School. She earned a bachelor's diploma in law from Barnard College (1983), the Master of Arts in Literary Studies at the University of Queensland (1985), and she earned a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Harvard Law School (1997).
Wiehl was previously a US Attorney. She was a legal correspondent on the NPR program All Things Considered. She served as assistant chief investigator counsel to Democrats in the House Judiciary Committee in Clinton's impeachment. She was a law professor with tenure in the University of Washington School of Law Seattle from 1995 until 2001. Wiehl worked as an analyst for Fox News legal analyst from 2001 until 2017.
