The family was raised to Rochester, New York, Sharp was a music enthusiast and studied the clarinet, piano, and cello at the world-class Hochstein School of Music. Sharp's love for theater at the age of 14 was what led her to the Boston Conservatory where she received the scholarship. Cum Laude graduated with a B.F.A. Sharp focused her energy on the stage. Sharp performed on her first Broadway National Tour of Carousel. She made her debut Off Broadway as Michael Bradford's Living in the Wind. She also played eight characters in the interactive comedic Eat the Runt. Other stage performances include: Abyssinia, Aida, Thunder Knockin' Jitney, The Producers, Big Street, Suburb and Joe Turner's Come and Gone, in which Sharp was a co-reader with the playwright August Wilson himself. Sharp is working on several original projects which include screenplays and productions. Sharp continues to perform and is in the process of putting together a full length album. Sharp is a fan of exercise. She is active by doing boxing, studying Krav Maga, and taking long road trips. Sharp resides with her husband and children living in Los Angeles.
